Dollars spent to support needed early childhood intervention and “pre-school programs” where required result in happier and healthier children and a more positive future for all Saskatchewan citizens.

Saskatchewan government policies in support of corporate bio-engineering and the spread of genetically modified food crops threaten the potential of a growing organic farming industry
WE SAY NO
Environmentally and economically sustainable land use practices will maintain the fertility of Saskatchewan farm lands and sustain a heathy agricultural food industry.

Continued “mining” of farm soils and massive use of pesticides and herbicides will destroy the land and pollute our air and water.

A guaranteed annual income system which supports the dignity of the person and encourages each person to maximize his/her potentials must replace the traditional and punitive welfare system.

Quality housing for all Saskatchewan citizens, including residents in northern and remote communities, must be a social priority.

Programs which encourage home ownership, co-operative housing and home construction co-operatives must be supported by governments

Free publically-funded day care is needed in rural and urban communities.

Everyone of working age has the right to useful and environmentally sustainable work.

Every elector’s democratic vote should count and make a difference as it would in a reformed system of “proportional representation.”

Political parties except the GPS accept corporate and union financing.

Political parties should be financed only by individual contributions and a $1.00 public grant for each vote cast for that party in the previous election.
