Robert Cosbey

Robert Cosbey (Jr.) worked in Regina for 38 years as an information-technology professional. On retiring in 2005, he and his wife Sandra moved to Angus Crescent, in the Cathedral neighbourhood. Their three children are away from home, pursuing careers in music. Robert has been, at one time and another, president of the Elizabethan Singers of Regina, president of the South Saskatchewan Youth Orchestra, secretary of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union Local 911, chair of the Knox-Metropolitan United Church worship ministry, and member of the national council of the National Party of Canada. He is currently active in church music, musical and dramatic groups, martial arts, running, building web sites, and home renovations.

Robert is a long-time advocate of environmental responsibility. His commitment to the Green Party of Saskatchewan is based on the party's appropriate and credible environmental position, coupled with its strong emphasis on improving our democratic processes and bringing in proportional representation. The urgency of dealing with global warming cannot be overstated. We need to take strong action now.
