Leadership Race to be decided on Sunday September 25th

Brendan Cross, Victor Lau, and Larry Waldinger have all announced their intention to run for the Leadership of the Green Party of Saskatchewan as we head into a provincial election.  The decision will be made at a Special Leadership Meeting this Sunday in Regina at Glencairn Neighbourhood Recreation Centre, 2626 Dewdney Ave E.  The meeting will run from 9-5, with the elections starting at 1pm.  Members in good standing (and you can sign up the day of the meeting) can vote at the meeting; by sending their ballot with another member; or even by e-mail.  In the last case, the member will have to waive secrecy.

A ballot, with instructions can be downloaded here.

If you have not renewed your membership in the last year, membership application forms are available at saskgreen.ca/join.

Contact secretary@saskgreen.ca if you have any trouble with the ballot, have any questions about how to get it to the meeting, or are unsure of your membership status.  We will be identifying people around the province who are coming to the meeting that you can send your ballot with.

More information will be posted soon about the candidates on this website and from the candidates, but for now...

The candidates for Deputy Leader are Mark Bigland-Pritchard, Amber Jones, and Owen Swiderski.  The position of Deputy Leader will also be elected, using the same process as leader, at the special Meeting on Sunday.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend!
